Just as there are many banks and credit cards, there are many different crypto wallet providers to choose from. They all serve the same purpose, but each one takes a different approach and makes different tradeoffs.
You can find the list of wallets supported by Artrific as below:
Metamask – A browser extension with peerless power and flexibility. MetaMask is the most popular wallet of Web3 and one of the oldest players in the industry.
WalletConnect - WalletConnect is a protocol supported by many different Dapps and wallets. Install any mobile wallets supporting WalletConnect protocol.
You need FUSE to pay for some of your interactions with the blockchain and to pay for the items you buy.
You can add FUSE by heading to the wallet icon, located on the top-right of the Artrific website. You will see a blue button titled "Buy Fuse". By clicking this button, it will direct you to the site for exchanging FUSE.
To log out of your Artrific account or switch crypto wallets:
Navigate to the Profile icon on the top right of the screen, next to Create
On the dropdown menu, press Log Out.
You can now hide items from your Artrific profile!
To start, click the three dots icon on the top left corner of your NFT.
Next, click "Hide" at the bottom of the context menu.
The item will move to a "Hidden" tab, visible only to you on Artrific.
If you're new to NFTs, it can all be a little overwhelming at first, but you've come to the right place. At Artrific, there are many ways to search through thousands of NFTs.
From the landing page, select "Explore".
If you know what you're looking for, you can search directly in the search bar “Search item and collection”.
Here's a list of key terms used in the NFT space and it's helpful to review before you get started.
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) – They are unique, digital items with blockchain-managed ownership. Examples of NFTs include digital art, collectibles, virtual reality items, crypto domain names, ownership records for physical assets, and more.
Blockchain – A blockchain is a digitally distributed ledger that facilitates the process of recording transactions and information across a network. You can think of it as a decentralized or distributed database.
FUSE is a blockchain, and FUSE is the currency used to make transactions on the FUSE blockchain.
Gas fees – Think of gas fees as Fuse blockchain transaction costs. Artrific does not get involved in setting gas fees – they are determined by supply/demand across the network (blockchain).
Crypto wallet – It is an application or hardware device that allows individuals to store and retrieve digital Items, like cryptocurrency and NFTs.
Wallet address – Also known as your "public key". Your wallet address is unique. It’s the address people will use when they are sending cryptocurrency or NFTs. Your NFTs and cryptocurrency do not live in your wallet—they exist on the blockchain, under your wallet address. Your software or hardware wallet only contains the key to that address.
Private key – A string of numbers (often 256 characters long) that represents your signature to authorize transactions on the blockchain.
Seed phrase – Your seed phrase is a list of words (usually ranges from 12-24 words) that can be used to recover your crypto should you forget your password or lose access to your wallet. When you first begin trading with your wallet, find your seed phrase and back it up somewhere safe, in multiple locations if possible. You’ll receive a seed phrase to write down when you first create a crypto wallet. This is how you can back up your key without actually holding the numbers. Also known as a "mnemonic phrase" or “secret recovery phrase.” Don’t store your seed phrase on an online cloud storage service and never share it with anyone.
Collection – A collection is a body of work, like a store or gallery. If you see someone refer to an OpenSea collection as a store or gallery, don’t get confused – it’s all the same. We use the term collection to keep things simple.
Dapp (decentralized app) – A blockchain-integrated website that requires you to connect and approve all transactions with your wallet signature. Examples include Artrific, Voltage, etc.,
Smart contract – Smart contracts are decentralized code that run on blockchains. Dapps are powered by smart contracts - buying and selling NFTs on Artrific relies on smart contracts.
